Dear ACS Community,
It is hard to believe that this will be my final message for the 2022-2023 school year. Last Friday we celebrated the last day of school for our seniors, and this past weekend I was happy to see many of you at the color run in support of operation smile.
This week is filled with graduations, award ceremonies, and shows. I look forward to seeing many of you on campus in the following days to celebrate these end-of-year activities.
As I reflect on this year, I am genuinely thankful to be making this recording without a mask. I'm also pleased with all the activities and opportunities that we were able to provide for students in this first full post-pandemic year. As I look forward to next year, I am excited to welcome three new members to our senior leadership team. I also eagerly anticipate the impact that this new team will have on student learning across ACS.
I wish all of you joy, rest, and relaxation during the upcoming break. I hope it is a time of making memories while you reconnect with family and friends.
Remember that Thursday will be a half day of school, and have a great break ahead.

Es difícil creer que este será mi mensaje final para el año escolar 2022-2023. El viernes pasado celebramos el último día de clases para nuestros seniors, y este fin de semana pasado me alegró ver a muchos de ustedes en la carrera de colores en apoyo de operación sonrisa.
Esta semana está llena de graduaciones, ceremonias de premiación y espectáculos. Espero ver a muchos de ustedes en el campus en los próximos días para celebrar estas actividades de fin de año.
A medida que reflexiono sobre este año, estoy genuinamente agradecido de hacer esta grabación sin barbijo. También estoy contento con todas las actividades y oportunidades que pudimos brindar a los alumnos en este primer año completo posterior a la pandemia. Mientras espero con ansias el próximo año, estoy emocionado de dar la bienvenida a tres nuevos miembros a nuestro equipo de Liderazgo Senior. Dear Parents,
As the year comes to an end, I wanted to take this opportunity to say a heart felt thank you. I wish I could thank each student and parent individually for all the warmth, the memories and the joy we have shared but in case I can't, please know I take a little bit of each of you with me. Thank you for allowing me to be part of your child's educational career; it has been wonderful and rewarding for me.

Secondary School
Dear Parents,
We have finally arrived at the last week of our academic year! Over the next couple of days, students will be wrapping up various assignments and assessments in their classes, as well as attending to a variety of "housekeeping" tasks that will allow us to bring the school year to a successful on Thursday.
On Thursday at 11:00 a.m., we will be holding our annual Awards Ceremony in the Theater. Parents are welcome to attend. Please remember that Thursday is a half-day, so please make arrangements for dismissal at noon.
For those of you already looking ahead to AY 2023-24, we will send out a letter on Wednesday that contains a list of supplies that students are expected to bring with them when we reopen in August.
On a personal note, I will be leaving La Paz over the weekend to re-join my family in Rome. It has been an honor serving in this interim post, getting to know our faculty, staff, students, and parents. I have very much enjoyed working with your children, and I am very grateful to all of those who, in their words and actions, have made me feel a part of the school community.
